Kristie's Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides assistance, support
and cherished moments to critically ill children and their families. I have been taking photos for them for the last 2 years, and it really is a great organization.
Besides all of the great things Kristie's Foundation does on a day-to-day basis, they host an annual BBQ Cook-Off and Family Festival. This year the event was at the Orange County Fairgrounds, and it included Orange County's largest competition BBQ cook-off and a classic car show. Another great event that took place that day was their annual butterfly release. Hundreds of butterflies were released, each representing a child battling an illness or a life which has already passed.
