I'm not sure who is more creative, me, or my wife, Jackie (Nevermind, I know the answer to that, she is! Love u babe;-))...A couple years ago I was trying to come up with some new ideas for photography packages, and Jackie came up with the great idea of capturing a child's life from before birth to around the child's first birthday. The best part was that the client would get a free photo shoot out of the package, so everyone would be happy! I thought the idea was brilliant, and we named the package "All in a Year". It has been extremely successful, and I am really excited to show everyone my first completed All in a Year package!
The Amat's and I go way back, so when they asked me to document the first year of Aiden's life, I was super stoked! I just can't believe how fast time flies...I started shooting this package almost 2 years ago! We went all over the place for our shoots and used Orange County to its maximum potential. On our first shoot we spent a beautiful evening hanging out on a train, slumin' it in back alleys, walking on the beach, and climbing on a pier in Seal Beach. On our second shoot, which was the newborn shoot, we hung out at the Amat residence and captured a lot of great pics inside their beautiful home. On our third shoot, we headed over to Irvine Park in Orange where we played on a waterfall, took pics on train tracks, and got some great sunset pics in the brush. We chose the train depot in San Juan Capistrano as our last location. If you have never been down there, I highly reccommend it, especially for the little tykes. We had a great time hanging out on a train and cruising around the incredible grounds that the station has to offer.
It was tough, but I whittled it down from around 200 pics per shoot to just a couple from each shoot for my blog. I really enjoyed seeing Aiden grow up through my camera, and I hope you will too. Enjoy the pics...
